Youth Enterprise Services
Youth Enterprise Services (YES) is a project supported by the Foundation for Young Australians, the Department of State and Regional Development, and the Broken Hill Enterprise Development Centre.
YES Objectives are:
Awareness- Emphasising the benefits of entrepreneurship and self employment. Instilling in the minds of regional youth that owning a business is possible and rewarding for themselves, their peers and their community
Support- Young people curious about business will be able to access information and advice with ease, using mediums that work best for them. Youth already in business will have a support base of other young business people, as well as access to the right people, skills and training.
Education- Young people wanting to further their business skills and their businesses in general will have ways to access the education needed.
Amaze Yourself is a project funded by Donkey Wheel to allow young people in business or looking at starting a business, the opportunity to work with a business mentor anywhere in Australia. Only 12 positions available.
